HTC X7500...For Those Who Have The Hunger For Having Something 'More'

A first glance at the HTC X7500 popped up a lot of questions in my mind. Is this a laptop? or a tablet PC? or a personal communicator?

The look of this device is quite strange, yet splendid!

It seemed to be an 'abridged' form of a laptop to me.

I came to know that X7500 is touted as the HTC's number one star. It is a laptop, a UMPC and a Smartphone...all rolled into one.

There are different names for this device, such as Athena and Ameo. HTC Advantage Portable Office is the latest one.

I found the jet grey finish of HTC X7500 quite smart and elegant. There is a strip of clear plastic through which you can see the Windows Mobile 5.0 alerts when the device is closed.

HTC X7500 has a detachable keyboard that most of the UMPCs lack. He QWERTY keyboard makes it possible to view and edit official documents (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), e-mails and messages. The 5” VGA screen display provides a splendid view of the documents and Web pages.

Well, this gizmo has all the features that can make it as a 'must-buy' gadget for all the globe trotters!!
